A concerned parent called 911 to report their child was messaging a stranger on Snapchat. The parent said the guy on the other end of the messages was a 27-year-old man from Ireland who had exchanged inappropriate messages with the child.
The parent said they’d already made arrangements for the child to see a counselor and tried to report the incidents to the Special Victims Unit. However, he hadn’t heard back from detectives yet.

However, the man said he wanted officers to take note of the incident in case the person lived closer than he claimed.
