Speedway Bomb Threat Investigated
A concerned Speedway employee contacted officers around 3 am after a young male called three times in what appeared to be prank calls.
During one of the calls, the caller said there was a bomb in the back of the store. When the employee said he would call the police, the caller said he was just pranking them and was only 13.
The employee said nothing seemed out of the ordinary at the store, and an officer checked the area for any suspicious devices. Everything looked fine.
Woman Arrested For Bizarre Behavior at Speedway
A Speedway employee reported a woman acting strangely in the store just before 11 am. The apparently high woman was crouched down in an aisle.
When police arrived at the scene, they took a 33-year-old woman into custody for disorderly conduct.
Deputies had previously booked her into the jail for charges of contempt, parole violation, and escape.
She was almost immediately released per the court.
