A frantic search for a woman who allegedly threatened self-harm netted drugs and a stolen gun.
Just after noon, a caller reported that an allegedly suicidal woman took off in the direction of Kent Street. The caller said the woman had already cut her legs and was carrying pills that she intended to harm herself with.
Police caught up with the woman on 21st Street and contacted an ambulance. Officers impounded narcotics and also found a gun reported stolen from Chillicothe.

An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital for treatment. Officers forward information about the drugs and stolen gun to the Scioto County Prosecutor’s Office to review.
