Portsmouth Police handle a lot of reports of strange behavior at local businesses. Just after 12:30 p.m., they responded to Saxby’s Salon on Scioto Trail for a report of a man making customers uncomfortable.
He was described as wearing plaid pajama pants and a red coat. Officers responded to the scene and spoke to the man. He agreed to move on.
AT 7 p.m., a caller reported a bearded man crawling around on the ground behind Denny’s Auto Sales on Washington Street. An ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

Just after 11 p.m., officers responded to a report of a man sleeping by the pharmacy window at Kroger. However, the store said it didn’t mind if the man slept there at night as long as he left during the day.
