ABANDONED & BEGGING FOR HELP
Authorities were called to County Road 29 after multiple reports of a half-naked man frantically waving down cars near a bush. But what seemed like a bizarre sight quickly unraveled into a horrifying case of assault, abduction, and armed robbery.
A NIGHT OUT GONE WRONG
The victim told police he had been lured out by so-called “friends” he hadn’t seen in a while. After receiving an unexpected Snapchat invite, He agreed to hang out. Shortly after, his “friend” pulled up outside his home—with two other men waiting in the car.
Everything seemed normal at first. They drove around Ironton, then headed toward Portsmouth, making a stop at a Verizon store in New Boston. But things took a dark turn when they suddenly changed course and drove toward the secluded trails of County Road 29.
🚗💨 “I told them I wanted out, but they sped up so I couldn’t escape!” He told officers.
BEATEN & ROBBED IN THE WOODS
Once they reached a remote trailhead, the three men dragged him out of the car and attacked him.
“I tried to fight back, but one of them was a really good fighter,” he admitted.
