Talking Trash with CJW Waste Management
CJW Waste Management is a new contender in the waste management industry in the Southern Ohio area. Betty Smith recently spoke with Kody Bowling, a member of the staff at CJW to discuss their business.
Kody first explained that the reason he decided to enter the waste management business was after Elkin’s Waste Services were bought out by Rumpke Waste and Recycling, the people of the Portsmouth area had little to no choice in who they went to for waste management.
CJW is currently servicing over 100 customers and is still looking to expand. In addition to supporting a small family-owned business, CJW is also a viable option due to the competitive pricing they provide with their standard pricing being $18 a month, and additional cans costing an extra $4. CJW also provides discounted rates to veterans, seniors, EMS, police, fire, and medical personnel, with prices as low as $14.50 a month with a free extra can.
CJW currently covers a fairly large area in both southern Ohio and Kentucky, including Wheelersburg, New Boston, Portsmouth, and a few other areas, all of which are listed on the home page of their website. The company is still seeking licenses for some of its service areas but hopes to receive these licenses by January 4th, 2021.
CJW Waste Management is an excellent alternative to the traditional waste management services in Scioto County, with competitive rates and a strong commitment to the people of the area.
