A teen driver was terrified after she hit a deer on St. Rt. 139 in Minford. The girl said that after she hit the deer, the owner of a home came outside and threatened to shoot her.
The car was still drivable, so she headed to the ER to have some glass removed from her hand.
When officers headed to the scene of the accident, the homeowner said he was outside smoking when a car pulled to the side of the road at the end of his property. He said he figured the driver was up to do good, so he yelled something about having a gun to frighten them away.
When officers explained what happened, the man asked the deputy to convey an apology to the driver.
