An 18-year-old girl found herself in a bad spot just after 9 pm. An employee of Kroger called 911 to report a teen sitting on a bench outside the door. She told employees she’d just been kicked out of the house and didn’t know what to do.
Officers headed to the scene and advised the girl of her options before dropping her off at the homeless shelter.

Around 6 am, officers headed to the homeless shelter after a resident called police for help. She said that she’d left the shelter, and now the staff wouldn’t allow her back in until 8 am. Officers advised her not to call 911 unless it was an emergency.
