Teresa Ellen Huffman-Kelly, 68, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026. Teresa Ellen worked for SOCF, Daniel’s Head, and USEC for many years and was also a registered nurse.
She was born on December 4, 1957 to the late Clyde and Kathleen Patterson Huffman. She was very strong willed and had a love for her pets, especially her dogs, Wolfie & Amy. She is survived by her husband, Michael Kelly, daughter, Stacey Prater Ratliff, grandson, Justin Ratliff, stepson, Brian Kelly, stepdaughter, Kate Kelly, step-grandson, Eli Kelly, sister, Julie (Michael) Bricker, and special friends, Weese Dilley and Morris Liddle.
She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Her light lives on in our hearts. The family wishes to thank Riverside Methodist Hospital for their compassionate care for our dear Ellen. A graveside service will be held at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg on March 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes a donation be made to Sierras Haven. Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth is handling the arrangements.
