Thelma Mae McCullough, 93 of Stout, died Saturday, June 14, 2025, at SOMC Hospice. She was born November 22, 1931, in Liberty, Kentucky, to the late Elmer and Alma Vaught Monday.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Mark A. McCullough, 2 brothers; Ray and Eulys Monday, and 4 sisters; Leatha Clements, Edna Henson, Eula Hatfield and Ruth Lee.
Thelma was retired from Southern Ohio Medical Center where she worked in the dietary department. She was a loving, Christian, mother who was a long-time member of Pond Run Baptist Church.
Thelma is survived by a daughter, Sherry (Carl) Hileman, 2 sons; Harold “Jim” (Kathleen) McCullough and Gerald “Jerry” (Lesley) McCullough, a brother Kenneth Monday, a sister, Rita Blair, 11 grandchildren; Amy (Eric) Longmire-Risner, Christopher (Amber) Hedge, Larissa Hileman, Jacob (Kristyn) Hileman, Isaac (Sara) McCullough, Aaron (Molly) McCullough, Phillip (Leah) McCullough, Brittany (Gerald) Stambaugh, TJ (Sarah) McCullough, Ryan McCullough and Elijah McCullough, 21 great grandchildren; Gabriel, Jadyn, Ally, Colton, Lylah, Maelynn, Charlotte, Jake, Evelyn, Collin, Caroline, Micah, Amelia, Noah, Kaelyn, Jonah, Logan, Sophia, Lydia, Samuel and Grant.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Pond Run Baptist Church with Jeremiah Lewis officiating and interment in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth and one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
