Thieves Rip Off Little League 

Just before 4:30 pm, the President of the Sciotoville Little League contacted PPD to report that thieves had hit the ball club.  

The caller said someone had stolen the lock to their fence and had keyed the lockbox on the outside of the building.  

The club requested extra patrols in the area but did not file a report at the time.  

Wanted Man Arrested on Mabert Road 

Police responded to Mabert Road at 6:15 pm for a report of an intoxicated woman and man fighting. The caller said the man had threatened to hit the woman. 

Police discovered the man had an open warrant from Clark County. Officers took the man into custody.  

Man Arrested After Walnut Street Assault 

Just after 2 am, police responded to a report that a woman had been assaulted in the alley near Wagner Rentals and that her assailant was in a nearby house. 

Police took the man into custody and booked him into the Scioto County Jail.
