Todd Roger Journey, 54, of West Portsmouth, went to be with his Heavenly Father on December 27, 2025, at his home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Todd was born on April 25, 1971, to John Roger Journey and the late Barbara Ann (Kammer) Journey.
Along with his mother, Todd was preceded in death by a son, Dylan Roger Journey.
Todd was a wonderful husband and best friend. He worked as a logger and heavy equipment operator and had a deep love for the outdoors. He especially enjoyed fishing and had a lifelong fondness for animals. Above all else, Todd loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and lived his life guided by his faith.
Along with his father, Todd is survived by his loving wife, Francene Ann Mundhenk Journey, whom he married on August 26, 1994; two brothers, John Gregory Journey (Mary Ann) of Lucasville and Jody Lee Journey of Columbus; and one sister, Tamela Lynn Helton of North Carolina. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, Joe Mundhenk (Diana) of Portsmouth, Andy Mundhenk (Lori) of Sciotoville, and Cody Mundhenk (Faith) of Otway; a nephew, Michael Mundhenk (Rylee) of Minford; and a close friend, Amy Nunley of West Portsmouth.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday December 31, 2025 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth, with Jim Pertuset and Carl Distel officiating.
