Tonya Renae (Oppy) Fetzer, 57 of Lucasville passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023 at SOMC Hospice. She was born on September 28, 1965 in Wilmington to the late Harry Paul Oppy, Sr, and Imogene Throckmorton Oppy.
On June 30, 2006, she was united in marriage to Albert Thomas Fetzer. In addition to her husband, Tonya is survived by her children; Nathan (Donya) Howard of Blue Creek, Naysa Scott of Savannah, Georgia, Timothy “Neal” Oppy of Lucasville and John Daulton of Temple, Texas; grandchildren Brandon Stewart, Haylen Scott, Boston & Brody Oppy, Lelind & Nahtana Howard, Gabe, Grace & Hadley Daulton, ; three step grandchildren Jenna Hiles, Maicie & Creed Parker; sisters, Laura (Ivan) Crabtree of Lucasville, Kitty Burchett of Hillsboro, Diana Lee of Hillsboro, Nancy (Bruce) Bateman of Hillsboro and Barb Overman of Hillsboro and special cousins, Herbert & Joy Penix of Lucasville, Leona (Tim) Heizer of Lynchburg. In addition to her parents, Tonya was preceded in death by siblings; Karen Sue Ellis, Patty Crabtree and Harry Paul Oppy, Jr.
Tonya was a member of Mccullough Baptist Church and a childcare provider for over 30 years.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, July 21, 2023, at The Church of Christ Restoration of Latter Days Saints in Lucasville with Pastor Danny Powell officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30 until the time of the service at the church. Burial will follow in Cooper Cemetery in Lucasville.
