Treyvon Michael Jaron Truett, 24, of Portsmouth Ohio passed Sunday, November 9, 2025. Treyvon was born at Southern Ohio Medical Center October 25, 2001 to Bernard Truett and Jennifer Williams.
Treyvon had a presence that was felt by everyone he encountered and loved with a heart that knew no bounds. Treyvon will be remembered for the love he poured into everyone around him as well as the positivity that radiated off of him.
Treyvon always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger. He was the first to volunteer when someone needed help, never giving it a second thought. He led with his heart and was loyal to a fault. If you were loved by him, you never questioned it.
Treyvon is survived by: His mother, Jennifer Williams, His father, Bernard Truett, Two brothers, Brenden and Devion Truett, Grandparents Mary and Michael Henderson, Three aunts, Amanda Stewart(Charles Price), Danielle Henderson(Jacob Ankrom), and Latonya Truett. He is also survived by two close cousins, Brittney Winn and Jeremy Reynolds as well as a nephew (Marjay) he held in special regard and a plethora of friends.
Treyvon is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather, Michael Williams, Paternal Grandmother, Cecilia Truett, and “Brothers” Joey Winn and Austin Lewis.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 15, 2025, with a visitation beginning at noon at the Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth. Burial will immediately follow at Scioto Burial Park in McDermott with a gathering for friends and family to take place at the 14th Street Community Center afterwards.
