It was a wild half-hour at the Speedway gas station as Portsmouth police found themselves handling back-to-back chaos!
First up, a pack of six troublemaking kids had an employee at his wit’s end. The manager told police the group had been harassing staff for weeks! Fed up and frustrated, the worker finally called the cops around 9:30 p.m. Officers had a little chat with the juveniles and warned them to stay away. For once, the kids actually listened!
But just when things calmed down, bam! At 10:00 p.m., officers made a routine traffic stop at the very same Speedway—and hit the jackpot! They discovered Tiffany Mandeville, a woman with an open warrant from New Boston PD. Officers from New Boston rushed over to serve their warrants, while police arranged for her car to be towed.
Mandeville was slapped in cuffs for failure to appear and booked into the Scioto County Jail.
From unruly kids to busted fugitives, Speedway sure wasn’t lacking in action!
