What started as an assault call in West Portsmouth turned into a two-for-one arrest for Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies.
Deputies were called after a woman reported being assaulted by another woman. When they arrived, they called an ambulance for the injured victim and took the suspected attacker into custody.
While investigating, deputies also found a man at the scene who had an open warrant out of New Boston. New Boston Police came to the Sheriff’s Office, served him with a summons to appear in Mayor’s Court, and once the paperwork was done, deputies gave him a ride home.
The woman arrested, Hope Frazee, was charged with assault and booked into the Scioto County Jail. She appeared in Portsmouth Municipal Court, was released on her own recognizance, and is due back in court on November 4.
Frazee has previous arrests on her record, including charges for driving without a license, escape, and theft.
