Two Hospitalized After Assault Report in Tracy Park
Police headed to Tracy Park at 5 pm after a woman reported that a man had assaulted her by the memorial.
Officers and an ambulance responded to the scene. Medics determined the woman was having mental health issues, and she was transported to the hospital.
There was also a separate incident with a man who was also transported to the hospital for treatment.
Homeless Woman Parks Three Buggies at Magic Tunnel Car Wash
Officers responded to the Magic Tunnel Car Wash after a report of an issue with a homeless woman.
Witnesses said the woman had parked three buggies full of junk near the dumpster and was now in the process of spreading out her junk all over the place.
Just after 11 pm, PPD discovered three homeless campers in the Portsmouth Post Office Lobby. Police issued 3 summonses in lieu of arrest.
Kroger contacted police to report a woman loitering near the pharmacy window just after 4 pm. Officers advised her to gather her belongings and leave.
Just after 9 pm, witnesses reported multiple people panhandling at the Holiday Inn and asking guests for money. Police advised them to move on.
A 3rd Street caller contacted police to complain that a man and woman had set up a tent and were camping near their home. Officers spoke to the pair, who agreed to leave.
