A worried son called 911 at 10:30 am to report an incident at his mother’s house on St. Rt. 140. He told deputies his mother was in a nursing home and no one should be at her residence.

He said a relative drove past the house and noticed a strange truck in the driveway and an open front door.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found the front door open and the inside of the house destroyed. Deputies noted wet paint on the floor but observed no sign of theft.
