Water Rescue After Woman Gets Stuck on Log
First Responders headed to the Scioto River just before 8 pm after a call came in reporting a woman stuck on a log in the river.
Firefighters responded to the scene and requested assistance for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources to rescue the woman.
They said the woman was kayaking in the river, and it tipped over in the water. First responders rescued the woman shortly after.
Lawnmower Explodes on Morris Lane-Blue Run Road
EMS responded to Lucasville after a report of a scary lawn care accident just after 5 pm.
A Morris Lane-Blue Run Road caller said something exploded from her lawn mower and sprayed liquid all over her legs.
The woman said her legs were burning from the fluid. EMS responded to the scene to treat the woman, but she did not require a trip to the hospital.
Suspects Arrested in Condemned House
Officers arrested several suspects after multiple reports of people entering a condemned house on Summit Street.
At 2 pm, a witness reported seeing a woman enter the house carrying a milk crate. Officers took two people into custody at the scene.
At 4:30 pm, a caller reported a man entering the same house. Police took that man into custody and booked him into the Scioto County Jail.
