Officers took a woman into custody after a report of a violent assault on Robinson Avenue just after 2 p.m.
A caller said a woman attacked them with a hammer and hit them in the head. The victim said they were bleeding.

When officers arrived on the scene, they took Pamela Glover into custody for felonious assault and tampering with evidence.
The victim of the attack refused medical assistance. Police booked Glover into the Scioto County Jail.
