A woman with a long criminal record found herself back behind bars for at least the 40th time after officers arrested her on Charles Street just after 8 am on an open warrant. Police impounded one item before booking her into the Scioto County Jail.
Rebecca James was sentenced to six months in prison back in May of last year for heroin possession, followed by two years of community control.

Police transported her to the Scioto County Jail, where officers found drugs on her during booking.
Previous charges included probation violation, possession of meth, violating a protection order, domestic violence, failure to appear, conveying prohibited items into a jail, and tampering with evidence.
