An area woman did not take suspicions that her boyfriend was cheating lightly. According to him, she went after him with a whip.
Lawrence County Deputies responded to a home around 10 pm and found a man who claimed he’d been attacked by his live-in girlfriend. He said that she got it in his head that he’d been cheating and told him she was going to beat it out of him until he confessed to infidelity.

He said she hit him several times before he called 9-1-1 and then fled the scene. Officers noted marks on his arms and chest. Police photographed his injuries and took information for a report.
