Officers responded to multiple complaints involving individuals suspected to be on drugs or having some type of mental health issue.
Right before 6:30 pm, 9-1-1 received multiple reports of a woman passed out in the road near the Malt Shop on the Scioto Trail.
Officers revived the woman with Narcan and left her with relatives to take care of her.
Shortly after that, 9-1-1 got a report of a possible overdose on Summit Street at the same time, the VA contacted them to report a man had threatened to harm himself by walking into traffic on Kendall Avenue. An ambulance transported the troubled veteran to the hospital.
Employees at the Super Quik called officers just after 1 am to report that someone dropped drugs near the store. Officers retrieved the narcotics.
Just after 5:30 am, a 4th Street caller said an apparently high man was cussing and screaming at them. Police caught up with the individual on Waller Street. They said he did not appear intoxicated and was now walking to Tim Horton’s for a ride.
