Officers responded to the Scioto Trail after a woman said she was cheated out of a slot machine jackpot.
She said she put $15 into the machine, and the machine said she won multiple times. However, she did not receive any money.
Technicians told officers the machine was in “demo mode” and that the winnings displayed on the machine did not come from the woman winning any money. They refunded $15 to the woman.

Officers told her any claim she had to winnings would be a civil matter, and she would need to sue them in civil court.
