Just after 5 pm, a worried boyfriend called 9-1-1 to report his girlfriend was locked in a junkyard on Carey’s Run-Pond Creek Road.
The caller said the woman was looking for tires inside a fenced-in area when the business closed. The gates were locked, and she couldn’t get out.
Officers attempted to contact the business owner, who responded to the scene and let the woman out within about half an hour.
