1. Woman With Knife Reported on Bloom Street 

Officers were called to a frightening scene on Bloom Street at 9:27 am. Witnesses said a woman was sitting on the sidewalk with a knife and saying, “You killed my parents and my kids.” 

However, the woman’s parents were alive and well on the scene, attempting to talk to her. By the time officers arrived, the woman had left and gone inside another home on the street.  

The parents said they had custody of her children, and they were safe with them. Police knocked on the door of the home she’d entered, but there was no answer.  

2. Strange Woman Spotted Lying on Madison Street Patio 

Just after 10 am, the owner of a Madison Street home reported a woman lying on his patio.  

When officers headed to the scene, they discovered a homeless woman sleeping. Police advised her to move on and not return.

Just before 7 am, employees of Patsy’s Inn reported a man passed out behind the building. Officers and drug counselors responded to the scene, and the man agreed to go into treatment. 

3. Drunk & Disorderly at Kroger 

Officers responded to Kroger on Gay Street after a caller reported a drunk man outside the store.  

Police barred the man from the store, and took him into custody for drunk and disorderly.
