Zachary Tyler Lang, 33, of Mason, Ohio, a former Wheelersburg resident, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Hamilton, Ohio.
Born April 11, 1991 in Portsmouth to Eric and Kimberly (Leeth) Lang, he was a Physical Therapy Assistant for Ohio Health in Columbus and Nova Care in West Chester, Ohio. He was a 2010 graduate of Wheelersburg High School and graduated from Shawnee State University with an associate degree in physical therapy and a bachelor degree in exercise science. He also received his Master’s in Health Administration from Ohio University and was a member of Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene in Wheelersburg and attended Crossroads Church in Mason, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Melanie (Monahan) Lang, whom he married on November 5, 2021 in Cincinnati; a daughter, Callie Lang; two sisters, Madison (Chris) Flowers of Wheelersburg, Rileigh Lang of Wheelersburg; two nephews, Noah Miller and Beckett Flowers; two nieces, Riley Miller and Anna Miller; grandmother, Glenna Leeth; grandfather, William Wiley; sister and brother-in-law, Dani (Nate) Miller, Kayleigh (Russ) Kyle; brother-in-law, Eddie Monahan, father and mother-in-law, Ed and Michele Monahan and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Don and Sue Lang of Wheelersburg and Gary Leeth of Hillsboro.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 14, 2024, Noon at Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene in Wheelersburg, with Pastor Matt Hancock officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Mason, Ohio. Friends may call at the church from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday and two hours prior to the service on Saturday.
