Ambulance Called For Abused Child
CPS workers requested an ambulance and officers to respond to a West Portsmouth Home just before 6 pm.
The worker said a child had multiple injuries from abuse and that the abuse had happened in a nearby county.
EMS workers and a deputy responded to the home.
Worried Family Members Search For Missing Relative
Worried family members contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office to say they hadn’t been able to contact a relative for several months.
The caller said several relatives had attempted to contact the woman but had received no answer. Officers went to the address provided and discovered that the woman had recently had a stroke and that the family had gotten rid of their landline and now use cell phones exclusively.
The woman’s family said they would contact the concerned relatives and ensure they had the proper contact information.
