Officers responded to Aldi Foods on Gallia just before 6 pm for a report of a shirtless man holding a beer yelling at people in the area.
Police took 40-year-old David Hatfield into custody for disorderly conduct. This was his 12th visit to the Scioto County Jail.
Previous charges include other instances of disorderly conduct, multiple counts of probation violation, petty theft, criminal damaging, tampering with coin machines, escape, drug possession, fictitious registration, and DUI.

A few minutes later, a Hamilton Avenue neighbor reported an intoxicated woman was on her porch cussing people out.
Officers trespassed the intoxicated woman from the caller’s house and warned her not to come back.
