A man contacted officers around 1 pm after he said he spotted a little girl playing along very close to the road. The man said he asked the child where her parents were, and she told him her dad was in the house.
He said he blew his horn to get an adult’s attention, but no one came out. He suggested the child stay away from the road, and she went up on the porch. The man told officers there was trash in the yard and at the end of the driveway.

He said he drove by the house two houses later and saw the child playing in a bathing suit on the porch. He asked officers to do a welfare check to see if she was okay.
Police searched the area, but were unable to locate the home.
