1 Cops Called For Out of Control Kids
Officers answered two calls involving out-of-control kids in one hour.
Just after 3 pm, the parents of a child already on juvenile probation reported the kid refused to come inside the house. The child had court the next day.
Officers told the child they should listen to the parent and go inside.
Thirty minutes later, another family reported a 16-year-old yelling and pushing their parents. Officers noted the teen was unruly and mouthy.
They advised the child to calm down, but the kid had no interest in complying. Police advised them on what methods of punishment were legal and how to file unruly charges.
2 Quick-Thinking Kids Save Sick Mom
Some quick-thinking children called 9-1-1 when their mother had a medical emergency.
Just after 4 pm, the kids called 9-1-1 to say their mother had a seizure, and they were unable to wake her up. Officers and medics responded to the scene and also contacted CPS.
Medics reported that the woman was having balance issues and going in and out of consciousness. Family members arrived at the scene and reported she had a previous history of seizures.
CPS gave permission for the kids to go with relatives, and medics treated the woman.
