CPS Intervenes After Mom Arrested For Domestic Violence
A mom on probation for domestic violence was once again arrested on domestic violence charges after an incident on Tuesday morning.
Just after 11 am, officers received a report that the woman had left a Harding Avenue home on foot, dressed only in pajamas.
Police notified CPS and caught up with Amanda Jarvis about 40 minutes later. She had allegedly made threatening statements concerning her toddler child. CPS workers put a treatment and safety plan in place to assist the family.
Officers booked Jarvisinto the Scioto County Jail on charges of domestic violence and probation violation. She is currently on probation for a domestic violence incident that happened back in September, when she was also arrested for endangering children.
Jarvis is being held without bail in the Scioto County Jail.
