David Edward Kline, 86 of West Portsmouth died Sunday, January 31, 2021, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born May 22, 1934, in Portsmouth to the late Truman and Vada Campbell Kline. David retired from the New York State Department of Civil Service. He was a graduate of Bob Jones University with a Masters of Divinity Degree.
David is survived by his wife, Betty Campbell Kline whom he married September 22, 2016, at Dry Run Church of Christ, children; Denise (Richard) Ware and Jeff (Lynn) Kline, stepchildren; Brenda (Keith) Gregory, Norm (Becky) Campbell, Laura Carman, and Kim Johnson, 11 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Mark Seevers officiating. Interment will be in St John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Albany, New York at a later date. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday starting at 12:00 PM.
