David Lee Wolford, 66, of Otway, Ohio passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at his home. He was born September 2, 1956 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Jerry Lee and Sophia Lorraine (Jackson) Wolford.
On October 10, 2020 he was united in marriage to Kelly Wolford who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Nikki Royster and husband Derek of McDermott; a son, Derek Goodson and wife Miranda of McDermott; a stepson, Zackary Wooten of Portsmouth; a stepdaughter, Jordan Wooten of Portsmouth; five grandchildren, Brinlee, Hunter, Cami, Remington and Aurora; a sister, Debbie Sieling and husband Mike of Portsmouth; a niece, LeAnn (Jason) Johnson of Lucasville; nephew, Barney Phillips of Otway and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
David was employed by Labors Union #1410 for 28 years. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends in the outdoors including hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed his dog, Jasmine.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2022 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home with Danny Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Otway Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
