Earl Howard Jr., 63, of Portsmouth passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024, at his home. Earl was born June 25, 1960, to the late Earl and Mary Louise (Tewalt) Howard in Portsmouth, Ohio.
He was a retired Tree Man and loved watching westerns, especially if John Wayne was in them, attending family gatherings, and collecting knives and antique car models. Earl also loved horses.
He is survived by his Ex-Wife, who took care of him, Sue Howard; two sons, Vincent Herman Jr. of New Boston and Travis Herman and girlfriend Chelsea Meadows of Portsmouth; a daughter, Myranda Herman of Portsmouth; four brothers, Donald Howard, Lundy Howard of Pickaway County, Bobby Howard of Portsmouth, and Billy Howard of Pickaway County; a sister, Terry Howard of West Portsmouth; six grandchildren, Vinnie Herman III, Tristan Pennington, Mariauna Collins, Ryder Collins, Oakley Herman, and Violet Meadows.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Howard; and a sister, Mary Jane Howard.
