Police officers are supposed to uphold the law, but that doesn’t stop some bad apples from committing the same crimes they arrest other folks for.
Now, an area law enforcement officer is facing a year in a state penitentiary after admitting to a serious crime.
Officer Bradley Spoljaric of the Ironton Police Department was busted last year for domestic violence, drug trafficking, and tampering with evidence.
Back in July, he pleaded guilty to a single count of aggravated possession of drugs. A Lawrence County judge sentenced him to a year in prison plus two years of community control after his release.
Back in 2022, shortly before his arrest Spoljaric posted photos of himself mugging to the camera in full uniform on his social media prompting a slew of snarky comments after his arrest.
