You never expect a little piece of plastic and wire to cause a family meltdown. But when that charger turned out to belong to something a bit more personal, things in Lawrence County got hot and turned into an all-out rumble fast.
Lawrence County Deputies were called out after what started as a lovers’ quarrel spiraled into a full-blown family brawl — and ended with everyone in handcuffs.
When officers pulled up, one family member was already cooling off in the back of a cruiser. Another was pacing next door. Before it was over, three relatives were on their way to the county lockup for domestic violence.
It Started With a Charger
According to the report, the trouble began when one half of a Lawrence County married couple found a vibrator charger in the living room. Accusations of cheating started flying faster than the insults, and soon it was a shouting match for the ages.
Phones were grabbed, voices were raised, and at one point the furious spouse FaceTimed their mother just to have a witness. Things didn’t calm down — instead, they got reinforcements.
Parents Join the Melee
The in-laws arrived to “help” and immediately joined the chaos. Dad allegedly tried to play peacemaker, Mom allegedly went full WWE, and at least one person ended up getting their hair yanked. The kids were hustled next door as deputies sped toward the scene.
By the time officers got there, everybody had a story — and everyone was the victim. Deputies decided there was only one way to end the argument: let the jail sort it out.
All in the Family
All three combatants were cuffed, booked, and charged. Written statements were collected once they cooled off behind bars.
