A worried Franklin Furnace son contacted deputies just before 10 am to report his mother missing.
He said that earlier, he and his wife were having an argument, and his mother became upset, thought it was about her, and left home headed in the direction of 522.

He told officers his mother suffers from dementia and had previously been arrested for assaulting a police officer. He described her as having gray hair, wearing a white coat, and carrying a dog.
Twenty minutes later, he called back to let officers know she was back home and had calmed down.
