A Barker Road resident contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office after his neighbor’s dogs got loose and broke into his garage. He said the animals ate his dogs’ food.
The man requested that officers tell the dogs’ owner to keep them away from his property. When deputies spoke to the owners, they promised to keep their dogs under control. Officers issued a warning that they’d call in the dog warden if it happened again.
Later in the morning, a Sedan Crabtree Road caller also complained about his neighbors’ dogs running loose. He said it was an ongoing problem, and one of the dogs attempted to bite him.
Another neighbor called to report the dogs attacked her dog on a leash in its yard. Officers spoke to the owners of the animals.
