Jane Ellen Mauk, 91 of Atlanta, Georgia, a former Scioto County resident, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021. Born October 22, 1929 in Scioto County, a daughter of the late Jesse and Nola Ball Lyon, she retired from Pleasant Hill Convalescent Center in Piketon as an R.N. She was a member of Fairview Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Timothy L. Mauk, Joseph C. Mauk, Wilbur M. Mauk; one daughter, Rebecca J. Buckroeder; fourteen grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur M. Mauk on October 25, 1987 whom she married August 9, 1948; one son, Bruce A. Mauk; one grandson, Tommy C. Mauk; one great granddaughter, Jane Bongolan two sisters, Joan Staker, Thelma Polley, and one brother, Jesse C. Lyon, Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Fairview Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. Friends may call at the Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
