John Edward Farrell, 95, of Wheelersburg, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at his home. John was born November 14, 1927, in Scioto County to the late Edward Farrell and Darlene Roof Farrell. John was employed as Plant Manager at the former Lawson Dairy and was a Vernon Trustee for several years.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Messer Farrell, on July 1, 2011, whom he married on January 12, 1946, in Greenup, KY. John was also preceded in death by a son, Carlos Farrell; two daughters, Pat Charles and Wanda Powell and two grandsons, Nicholas and Todd.
John is survived by a son, Steve (Valerie) Farrell; two daughters, Nancy (JB) Gulley and Vicki Brumfield; a brother, Clarence Farrell; a sister, Barbara DePriest; sixteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Graveside services for John will be 11:00 am Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Vernon Cemetery with Jeremy Moore officiating. Condolences to the family may be made at www.harrison-pyles.com.
