Katherine Carol Litz, 63 of West Portsmouth, died Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born May 7, 1957, in Portsmouth to the late Harold Stone and Golda Slone Lawhorn.
Along with her parents, Katherine was preceded in death by her husband Dennis Litz whom she married on October 9, 1976, 2 brothers; Harrison Stone and Jackie Stone, and a sister Pam Parlin.
Katherine retired from the Scioto County Court House and also ran on the Emergency Squad for Washington Township for many years.
Katherine is survived by her son, Aaron James (Stacey) Litz of West Portsmouth, 3 brothers; Jeff Weghorst, Marty Weghorst, and Greg Weghorst, 5 grandchildren; Shaela Litz, Skyler Litz, Joey (Skylar) Holsinger, Hannah Holsinger, and Rebekah Holsinger along with 1 great-granddaughter Alyssa.
