A frightening domestic incident in Lucasville ended with an arrest after a woman called 911 around 9 p.m. to report that a man had allegedly attacked her and then fled the scene.
The caller told dispatchers there had been a physical altercation and that the man had put his hands around her throat. She said she feared he would return and try to break through her windows.
Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies responded immediately and took Justin Holcomb into custody a short time later. He was booked into the Scioto County Jail on a charge of assault.
Court Action
Holcomb appeared in Portsmouth Municipal Court, where he was released on his own recognizance pending a follow-up hearing set for November 18.
A Pattern of Trouble
Court records show Holcomb is no stranger to law enforcement. His previous arrests include burglary, theft, grand theft, driving without a license, obstruction of official business, domestic violence, and drug-related charges.
