Mack Albert Quesenberry, 73, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, in Thornville, surrounded by family. Mack was born on June 15, 1951, in Quinwood, WV, a son of the late David McAdoo and Mary Francis Quick Quesenberry.
A long-time resident of Stout, Mack married Jennifer Zoe Piquet Quesenberry on June 17, 1999, in Greenup, KY. The couple had been married for 21 years at the time of her death on December 8, 2020.
Mack was employed in a plastics plant and attended Calvary Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and tending to his flowers. He also loved spending time with his grandkids, watching them in sports and playing jokes on them.
Surviving are four brothers, Robert (Pat) Quesenberry and Leonard (Melody) Quesenberry, all of Gainesville, FL, and Leslie Quesenberry and Glenn Quesenberry, both of Jackson; three sisters, Margaret Barlow of Wellston, Paulette (Donald) Scantland of Lake City, FL, and Linda (Wayne) Collins of Ashville; his two grandchildren, Makenna and Shane Taylor of Stout; and many nieces, nephews and their families.
Mack was also preceded in death by a sister, Francis Thomas; a sister-in-law, Mary Quesenberry; and two brothers-in-law, Paul Barlow and John Thomas.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church in Portsmouth with Ryan Brown, Minister, officiating and interment in Memorial Burial Park.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to services.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth.
