Just before 7:30 pm, officers responded to a report of a man attempting to kick in a door on Sunrise Avenue.
Police caught up with the man in the 1900 block of Oakland Crescent and took him into custody on aggravated burglary charges.

This was Brandon Smith’s 8th trip to the Scioto County Jail. He was picked up for probation violation, drug abuse, and aggravated menacing in 2023.
Other arrests include probation violation, fugitive from justice, falsification, possession of drug abuse instruments, and theft.
