Man Busted For Domestic Violence & Burglary
Just before 3 pm, a Dewey Avenue caller said a man came into a home, assaulted a woman, broke her TV, and then threatened to harm himself.
The victim said he made a comment that police would have to kill him. Officers checked two other locations before locating the man and sending for an ambulance.
Police arranged to have his vehicle towed. They arrested the man for domestic violence and burglary.
Feuding Couple Slam Car Into Utility Pole
An arguing couple ended up having a car accident just after midnight.
The pair were driving near Harding and Bosner while arguing. According to the driver, her boyfriend grabbed the wheel during the argument but then ran off when they slammed into the pole.
Officers took information for a report, and a tow truck removed the vehicle.
Two hours later, an officer located the man involved in the crash and requested an ambulance for him.
Parolee Arrested For Domestic Violence
A parolee with a history of arrests for assault and theft was arrested Sunday morning in Wayne Hills after a caller reported hearing someone beating up a woman and children in a Thomas Avenue apartment.
When police arrived on the scene, they arrested a man on parole for assault on domestic violence and parole violation charges.
Randell Hammonds, 25, is currently on parole for assault and drug possession charges.
