Man Shoots Self While Watching YouTube Gun Cleaning Video
A man attempting to learn the proper way to clean his weapon, ended up shooting himself on Saturday afternoon.
Just after 1:30 pm, medical personnel at the SOMC Urgent Care in Wheelersburg contacted police to report a man with a gunshot wound to his leg.

When police spoke to him, he explained he was watching a YouTube video on the proper way to clean a Taurus handgun when it accidentally went off and shot him in the leg.
An ambulance transported him to SOMC for further treatment. One assumes had he watched the video all the way through before attempting to clean his weapon; he would have known to unload it.
