Deputies were forced to use possibly lethal force to take down the armed man after he threatened to kill a woman in the front yard of a Pedro, Ohio, home.
According to the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, they responded to a call of a domestic violence incident and found an armed suspect outside a home threatening to kill a woman.
The deputy fired his weapon, taking down the suspect. They then called for an ambulance to take the man to a Huntington hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Since this incident is still under investigation by the Ohio BCI, they haven’t released any names or any other details about the investigation. The deputy has been placed on leave. This is standard protocol in this type of incident.
