Brenda K. Haywood, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, went to be with her Lord August 18, 2026, at SOMC Hospice Center, surrounded by the comfort of her family. Brenda was the daughter of the late Charles and Prudence Keeney. A loving wife, she is survived by her husband, Malcolm Haywood.
Brenda’s memory will be forever cherished by her children, Angel Haywood of Wheelersburg, Ohio, and Margie (Bart) Scott of Wheelersburg, Ohio. She was a proud grandmother to Haleigh (Hunter) Holloway, Jordan Stamper, and Reagan (Austin) Ray, all of Wheelersburg, Ohio. She was a great- grandmother to Reece Jones of Portsmouth, Ohio and Aubree Ray. Brenda is also survived by her sister, Sharon (Larry) Reipenoff, and her brother, David Keeney, both of Wheelersburg, Ohio, as well as many extended family members and friends.
Brenda was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters; Donna Salyers, Neva “Midge” Keeney, Betty Floyd, Thelma Green, Alfred Keeney, Buford Keeney, Virgil Keeney, and Ed Keeney.
In keeping with Brenda’s wishes, there will be no public services. She will be laid to rest at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg, Ohio
