A custody disagreement caused a commotion at a local restaurant and elementary school.
Just before 9 am, officers responded to a report of a man pounding on the windows and yelling at a Chillicothe Street restaurant.
The man then left the scene and headed to Portsmouth Elementary.

When officers responded to the school, they discovered the incident was related to a custody dispute. The irritated father had shown up at the mother’s workplace and caused a scene before heading over to the school to pick up the child.
In addition, the mother had changed the child’s emergency information at the school, infuriating the father.
Officers spoke to both parties and advised them about the situation.
